The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons.

·         You have applied for a residency or mentoring place.

·         You have attended a workshop or course

·         You subscribe to our e-newsletter.

·         You have made an enquiry to us.

By subscribing to our email list, making an application, submitting some work or attending a workshop / course, you are agreeing to receive emails from us about the following:

·         Updates about Dialect’s support to writers.

·         Dialect event information.

·         Information about Dialect publications.

·         Occasional information from our partners.

We never share, sell, or rent email addresses to anyone. We never share any other contact information you may have provided to us.

When applying to Dialect for a residency or mentorship or when registering your details for our writer mapping project, you provide us with additional information such as telephone numbers and place of residence. This information is stored securely and we do not share any of this information with anyone.  

You may choose to opt out at any time, which will cease all communications from Dialect. If you wish to opt in again, you can do so via the contact form on our website.

In line with GDPR, we will be in touch periodically to confirm you wish to continue to share your data with Dialect.
