April is National Poetry Writing Month, otherwise known as #NaPoWriMo, an annual project when poets attempt to write a poem a day for the whole month. It’s a great opportunity to kick procrastination to the kerb and get some words on the page.
This year we’re teaming up with Bristol City Poet Caleb Parkin to offer free twice weekly write-ins, bringing poets together to inspire each other's work with prompts, create opportunities to feedback and build a community. These sessions will run every Wednesday at 3pm - 5pm with Caleb and Sunday 9am - 11am with Dialect throughout April.
All sessions are totally free but we ask anyone who can afford it to drop a contribution in our PayPal to cover running costs. Those who make a donation can also join our online space to share work and get feedback from your fellow poets throughout the month.
If you’d like to join us, simply sign up here. We look forward to writing with you!
