About JLM Morton
Juliette Morton is a writer and founder of Dialect. Originally an academic by trade, Juliette studied at Goldsmiths, Sussex and Manchester Universities, graduating with MAs in literature and creative writing and a PhD exploring gender, whiteness/race, power, heritage and place. She’s been working in education in the UK and around the world for over 20 years. Recent publications include pamphlets: Water and Stroud Poets Series 2, work in Poetry Birmingham Literary Journal, Magma, Riggwelter, Poethead, Atrium and The Lake. Featured on BBC Upload, invited to read at Ledbury Poetry Festival, Juliette is Poet in Residence at Waterland, a Cotswold Water Park lake. Between demands from her kids for high calorie snacks and wrenching another toy from the jaws of the dog, she writes whenever she can. Often while cooking.
